We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Brandon Patrick Slocum, 28 of Bordentown NJ died suddenly on Tuesday, September 17, 2024.
Brandon was a graduate Bordentown Regional High School in 2014. He was an avid basketball player who really enjoyed playing on the Bordertown Rec youth league. After graduation he enlisted with the United States Army. After basic training, he earned numerous service awards and was stationed in South Korea where he did generator repairs. He also attended Barber School while he lived in San Diego.
After his military discharge he had a brief marriage and a son Christian who was the love of his life, he missed him greatly and spoke of him often. He had a passion for knowledge and was extremely interested in finance and the workings of and history of the US government winning many trivia games with his knowledge. His friends would often look to him for advice and guidance.
Brandon was very outgoing and enjoyed being outdoors, hiking, nature, the love for football and Philadelphia Eagles. His infectious smile would light up a room. He had many friends that he cared deeply about helping many with his compassion and understanding. But most of all he loved his family.
Brandon is predeceased by Grandparents Harry & Ruth Slocum, Grandfather Michael Pfeiffer and Uncle Harry Slocum.
He is survived by his son, Christian, his Father, Thomas P., Mother, Barbara R. (Pfeiffer), Sister, Heather Gaskill (Dane) Brother, Michael and Niece, Kaylee Gaskill and his maternal Grandmother Christa Claridge (Ross). Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2024 from 6pm to 8pm at the Kingston and Kemp Funeral Home, 260 White Horse Ave., Hamilton, NJ 08610. www.kingstonandkemp.com
A service of remembrance will he held during that time.
Interment with military honors will be held on Monday, September 30, 2024 at 10:30am at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Rd., Wrightstown NJ 08562.
Please arrive at the cemetery no later than 10:15 AM
