George A. Drombosky, 78, of Hamilton, NJ passed away on August 1, 2024.
Born in Pittsburgh, PA, he was a longtime Hamilton resident. He was member of the New Jersey National Guard for 14 years and retired from the U. S. Air Force as the Airfield Manager at McGuire AFB for a total of 43 years of Federal Civil Service. George loved his country and was very proud to serve and protect it. He also loved Pittsburgh and the Steelers, Penguins and Pirates. A devoted fan, he watched every game and, sometimes, the neighbors could hear him yelling. He also loved to collect model airplanes and, many of them, he built himself. A train enthusiast, his basement has many trains on display. He would put on a model airplane display in the hangar at McGuire AFB during the open houses. A few neighbors would help box and transport the planes to the base and set up the display.
