Angelina (Angie) Maddalena, 97, of Hamilton passed away Friday July 26 at Hamilton Grove Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Trenton, she was a Hamilton resident for the past 60+ years.
She retired from General Electric after many years and cared for her parents. She enjoyed making flower arrangements and eating at local Hamilton restaurants including Fame Diner and Pete’s steakhouse.
She was a long-time parishioner of St. Raphael’s Roman Catholic Church in Hamilton.
In her later years, she received support from her niece Eileen and husband Frank Lugossy and her late niece Marie Maglowski. She also received assistance from the Interfaith Caregivers of Greater Mercer County which included her good friend and care giver Georgette Bodner.
She was the daughter of the late Leonardo and Rafaella Maddalena and sister of the late Paul, John, Fred and Armand Maddalena, Mary Saltarelli, Anna Stellerine, Pom Slocum, Vincentia Frances Rondinelli, Victoria Testa, and Lucy Castronova.
She is survived by her niece Eileen and husband Frank Lugossy; niece Rose and husband Paul Cippon; nephew Flavian and wife Ursula Stellerine; nephew Dennis Maddalena and many more nieces and nephews as well as grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at 10:30 AM at St. Raphael’s Church, 3500 S. Broad St., Hamilton, NJ.
Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 1200 Cedar Lane, Hamilton, NJ.
Relatives and friends may visit on Thursday from 9 to 10 AM at Kingston & Kemp Funeral Home, 260 White Horse Ave., Hamilton, NJ.
