Walter J. Paulaski, 87, of Hamilton, NJ, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024 at Serenity Hospice at RWJ Hamilton.
Walter was born on June 3, 1936, in Trenton, NJ, to Alexander and Mary Paulaski. He attended Trenton schools and, after graduation, worked at Thermoid Rubber, Rejeski Roofing and Princeton University grounds and maintenance. At Princeton University, Walter started as a carpenter and worked his way up to supervisor of the Carpenter Shop. He retired from Princeton University after 35 years of service. Walter would be the first one there if someone needed help.
Walter cherished his time with family and friends. He was active with Boy Scouts (Troop 87) and enjoyed camping and fishing. He enjoyed his time at the casinos. He loved to dance and was always the life of the party. Walter had a magnetic personality.
Walter was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Al “Sonny” Paulaski, his in-laws Albert and Francis Knosky and his sweetheart wife of 58 years Evelyn Paulaski. He is survived by his son Kenneth (Marcia), his daughters Karen (George) Tomko and Robin (Frank) Maimone, his granddaughters Jena Paulaski (Marisa Umile), Heather (Frank) Bisanzio and Sarah (Manny) Santiago, his grandsons Kyle (Alysia) Paulaski, and Anthony and Andrew Maimone, his great-grandsons Gavin Paulaski, Ashton, Hudson and Paxson Bizanzio and Mason Santiago, his step-grandchildren George (Jennifer) Tomko, and Joseph, Laura and Michael Franta, his step-great-grandson Chance Newton, his sister-in-law Dorothy Paulaski, his nieces and nephew Linda, Donna and David, and his special friend Charlotte Roth.
Funeral service will be on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at 11 AM at Kingston & Kemp Funeral Home, 260 White Horse Ave., Hamilton, NJ (KingstonandKemp.com).
Interment will follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Bernadine Ave., Hamilton, NJ.
Relatives and friends may visit on Thursday from 9 to 11 AM at the funeral home.
