Surrounded by her loving daughters, JoAnn M Fisher passed away on March 30, 2024 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Cherry Hill, after a long illness. Wife of the late Thomas A Fisher, step- mother to the late Carol VanPelt, Thomas Fisher, Richard Fisher and mother-in- law to the late Jay B Staley, she is survived by her three daughters, Lorraine Palmer (Michael), GinaMarie Smith, and Leigh-Ann Fisher (John Ott). Her step- son Harry Fisher (Mary). Also left to cherish her memory are her six grandchildren who were her pride and joy, Stephen Staley, Brittany Staley, Christopher Smith, Sarah Smith, Molly Ott and Frankie Ott, and her best friend of 55 years Debbie Venello (Larry).
JoAnn was born in Trenton NJ to the late Genevieve (Ditullio) and Charles Schnorbus. JoAnn was a 1962 graduate of Notre Dame High School in Lawrenceville, NJ. In addition to raising her three daughters JoAnn was an accountant, retiring in 2010 from Civale, Silvestri, Alfieri, Martin & Higgins after many years. An expert knitter, crocheter, and excellent cook, JoAnn also was an avid reader, and loved to play games on her I Pad especially Bingo, while enjoying her favorite snack, pretzels. JoAnn also loved the beach, especially LBI. As beautiful on the outside as she was on the inside JoAnn loved music, flowers and animals of all kinds, especially all of her furry grandbabies.
JoAnn loved her family, Sunday dinners and all of the holidays, especially when her whole family was there to celebrate together. Her lovely smile and warm heart will be forever missed by her family. JoAnn is also survived by a step- daughter- law Kim Fisher, many step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren and cousins.
