Marian R. Sapudar, 94, of Hamilton, passed away on January 6, 2024 at Serenity Hospice at RWJ University Hospital at Hamilton.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, Marian met and married her late husband, Chief Warrant Officer Joseph J. Sapudar and traveled with him during his service with the US Army. They resided in Germany, Canada, Newfoundland, Japan, and Pennsylvania, finally settling in Hamilton, NJ in 1961. A longtime parishioner of St. Raphael’s Holy Angels Parish, she was primarily a homemaker and mother. She enjoyed cooking meals for her family and loved baking cookies and pies for her large, growing family.
Daughter of the late John, Sr. and Anna Klein Bumeder, sister of the late William Bumeder, Sr., Victor Bumeder, John Bumeder, Jr., Alfred Bumeder, Dolly Myers, Rose Blair, Agnes Bryant and Anna Bumeder, mother of the late Thomas E. Sapudar, grandmother of the late Thomes J. “TJ” Sapudar and wife for 48 years of the late Joseph J. Sapudar, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Joanne and Ron Riccione, her sons and daughters-in-law Joseph and Elizabeth Sapudar, Michael and Karen Sapudar and Lawrence and Tamara Sapudar, 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, her brother and sister-in-law Edward and Carol Bumeder, her sister-in-law Shirley Bumeder, her former daughter-in-law Lorraine Sapudar and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 15, 2024 at 10:30 AM at St. Raphael’s Church, 3500 S. Broad St., Hamilton, NJ.
Entombment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 1200 Cedar Lane, Hamilton, NJ.
Relatives and friends may visit on Monday from 8:30 to 10 AM at Kingston & Kemp Funeral Home, 260 White Horse Ave., Hamilton, NJ (www.KingstonandKemp.com).
