Karl T. Niedt Jr., 81, of Yardville passed away on Friday at Complete Care at Marcella in Burlington Township. Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident. Karl was a graduate of Hamilton High School West-Class of 1959. He was Honorably Discharged from the NJ Army National Guard in 1964. After leaving the service, Karl attended Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky. Karl was an accomplished salesman working for multiple companies, while specializing in the sale of Plastics and Plastic Materials. A long-time member of the White Horse Volunteer Fire Company, he was a Lieutenant of the Fire Police Unit and served as the Head Trustee for Buildings and Grounds. Karl was also a member of Mt. Moriah Lodge #28 Free and Accepted Masons, and the Tall Cedars of Lebanon- Trenton Forest #4. He was predeceased by his parents Karl T. Niedt, Sr. and Margaret Niedt and his Brother-in-Law, Ronald S. Genicola. Karl is survived by his children, Karl T. Niedt III and wife Kristen of Jackson and Heather M. Bartram and husband Michael of Burlington Township; his grandchildren, Karleigh Cacciatore and husband Mike, Karyssa Niedt and Joseph & Olivia Bartram; a great grandson Joey Cacciatore; his sister Marjorie Genicola of Pittsburgh, Pa. and his nephews, Lance Genicola and wife Beth and Keith Genicola and wife Melissa. He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday at 11am at the Kingston and Kemp Funeral Home, 260 White Horse Ave., Hamilton. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton. Calling hours will be Wednesday evening from 6pm to 8pm and Thursday morning from 10am to 10:45am at the Funeral Home.
