Timothy B. Daly, 71, passed away comfortably, at home, on March 6, 2023 with his loving wife of 42 years, Kim Brennfleck Daly, at his side. Tim was a lifelong resident of Hamilton Twp., NJ. After graduating from Hamilton High West in 1969 he began work as a type setter at the Trentonian newspaper. Tim stayed current on all the changes in the printing department and retired after more than 40 years at the paper. While at the paper, Tim wrote a seasonal auto racing column “Down the Straightaway” for which he won Reporter of the Year, Daily Paper from Flemington Speedway. Tim enjoyed all kind of auto racing but most Saturday nights, in season, he could be found in the stands at the 1st turn at New Egypt Speedway. Tim was an avid Eagles and Flyers fan and had many years of good times with friends and family attending the games. Tim enjoyed Enduro motorcycle racing in his younger years. Later fun times were playing with his grandchildren, cruises with family, summers in NH, puttering in his garden and taking care of his kitties. Tim was very proud of his sons Jared E. Daly, USMC, Sgt E6 & Kurt M. Daly, USN, E4. Preceded in passing by his parents Edward H. Daly and Beatrice Severs Daly, Tim is survived by his brother Edward Dennis Daly, his sister Jill Daly and husband Jeff Grunow, his sons Jared and wife Shannon and Kurt and wife Amanda, his grandchildren Aidan Knoble, Owen Daly and Deanna & Melanie Daly, his great-granddaughter Luna Knoble, his brother-in-law Jon Brennfleck and wife Ruth, his nephews Dennis Daly and wife Sandra, Shaun Daly and wife Susan and Jon Brennfleck, his niece Julie Gustafson and husband Ben, his grand-nieces Alison Daly, Shannon Daly, and Ava Gustafson, and his grand-nephews Shaun Daly, Jake Brennfleck and Bennet & Bryce Gustafson. Honoring Tim’s request to not have a funeral “Do an Irish wake. Just stand me in a corner and have a party” the family will be having a “Celebration of Life” after a few months. Tim also requested that anyone wishing to donate in his memory to contribute to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital at (stjude.org). In his words “No one deserves this. Especially not a child."
