Betty J. Howley, 90, of Wall Township, NJ, passed away, peacefully, on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.
Born and raised in the Germantown section of Philadelphia, PA, Betty was a Ewing Township, NJ resident for many years until moving to Wall in 2019. She retired in 1998 from the Ewing Township Board of Education where she was a secretary at Fisher Middle School. Prior to that, she had also worked at Lenox China, Trenton. Betty was a longtime parishioner of St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Hamilton, NJ, and member of the Ewing Township Senior Center. She loved the beach, swimming, collecting seashells, gardening, sewing, eating out and time spent with her family. Betty had an amazing sense of humor and loved to laugh.
Wife for 56 years of the late Philip Howley, Sr., she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Philip, Jr. and Christine Howley, her daughter Renee Howley, her brother Robert Nasife, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
Funeral Service will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at 11 AM at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 1200 Klockner Rd, Hamilton, NJ.
Interment will follow at Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Rd, Wrightstown, NJ.
